AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is eager to bring Clarence Seedorf back from Botafogo - as coach.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Berlusconi remains unconvinced by coach Massimiliano Allegri and is actively considering candidates to replace him this summer.
Former Milan midfielder Seedorf, currently playing in Brazil, is high on Berlusconi's shortlist.
Usually, it is vice-president Adriano Galliani who chooses the coach, but if Berlusconi was to put his foot down, as he did with Fabio Capello's appointment in the past, Seedorf could be installed as head coach for next season.
