AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi chose keeping Alexandre Pato over buying Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez, it has been revealed. Pato's U-turn in deciding not to join PSG last week saw Milan pull out of negotiations for Tevez.
Corriere dello Sport says Berlusconi was a major player in the developments, convincing Pato to stay with the Rossoneri.
The Milan president saw selling Pato and replacing Tevez as poor business. The Argentine is six years older than Pato, Cup-tied from the Champions League and hasn't played for three months. That was enough for Berlusconi to block the transfer.
