AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi admits he's delighted with the early impact of Mario Balotelli.

The former Manchester City striker has quickly become a Rossoneri favourite.

"Balotelli has become a phenomenon, he is a striker who is a star, stops traffic around Milan," gushed Berlusconi.

"He had a lucky beginning. Hopefully this continues and especially he continues to perform well. While in training and on the field, he is above reproach. But when he is out, perhaps also as a result of provocation, sometimes things are exaggerated."
