AC Milan are chasing Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

The Italy international is tied to Lazio until 2016, but Il Messaggero says Milan are prepared to test their resolve with a January bid.

Marchetti's agent, Beppe Bozzo, insists he's happy in Rome, though the 30 year-old does want to compete for silverware.

In the summer, Lazio president Claudio Lotito managed to resist enquiries from Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City and AS Monaco.
