AC Milan are reviving their pursuit of Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
Milan are convinced Balotelli is again unsettled at City after his clash with manager Roberto Mancini in Los Angeles last week.
Tuttosport says Milan will only step forward if Manchester City make it clear they no longer require his services, as they do want to keep the negotiations amicable.
City paid 22m plus performance-related bonuses to Inter for Balotelli last year, but his price-tag has probably dropped to 15m.
The Rossoneri would prefer the so-called Zlatan Ibrahimovic method of transfer, which is a loan with mandatory option to buy at the end of the season.
This sum would then be paid off over a three-year period.
