Uruguay coach Washington Tabarez has praised AC Milan for their capture of young duo Mathias Cardacio and Tabare Viudez.

"Cardacio is quick, very strong and good in the air. His ideal position is that of central midfielder protecting the defence, but he has shown he can do well on the flanks too," said the former Rossoneri boss in Tuttosport.

"Viudez is extremely talented and a great buy for the future. In the one-on-one he is a real slippery customer."
