AC Milan powerbrokers calm over Kaka comments

President Berlusconi, aware of Kaka's comments about opening new contract talks, said: "I do not understand what the worry is. His contract does not end in 2008 or 2009 but in 2011. Between 2011 and 2012 there is no big difference.

"Kaka will surely be staying with Milan. There's no problem. If there is a chance to talk about his contract, we will."

Meanwhile, Galliani reacted to Kaka's words that Italian crowd violence may force him to quit Serie A.

The vice-president said: "He said he intended to leave ... but it was only an expression of the anger he had with the situation. It was understandable."
