AC Milan investor Bee Taechaubol has publicly apologised to Inter Milan fans after a jibe from his adviser Pablo Victor Dana.

Dana tweeted a joke comparing Inter fans to “rats."

“I apologize to the Inter Milan family," wrote Mr Bee on Twitter. “@pablovdana words are not mine. He is not, and never will be, a part of AC Milan.

“Football is about sportsmanship & respect. What happened is a disgrace & we shall never tolerate this."

Seconds after Taechaubol's statement, Dana wrote this tweet: “I apologise to Inter fans for my tweet in very poor taste."
