AC Milan WILL be active in the January market, with a new midfielder and striker being discussed. Milan are keeping tabs on Riccardo Montolivo's situation at Fiorentina and are also in contact with Amauri's camp over his dilemma with Juventus.
With Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri short of midfield options, a deal for Montolivo, who is off contract in June, is on.
And Amauri, also available after being frozen out by Juve coach Antonio Conte, is also on the agenda with Allegri concerned over the lack of cover he has for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
