Controcampo says Milan are chasing both Gallas and Arsenal teammate Gilberto Silva, though expect to sign the Brazilian at the end of this season.

Milan want to strengthen their defence during the winter market and are ready to bid for Gallas rather than lean on youngsters Lino Marzoratti (Empoli) and Leandro Grimi (Siena), who are both away on-loan.
