AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri admits Barcelona are their biggest challenge in this season's Champions League.
He insisted his side would be competitive on the continent - so long as they don't face Barca.
"I am convinced that, with a full squad, we are on a par with Real Madrid," he stated. "The only exception is Barcelona.
"Last season we went out of the competition against Tottenham because of some bad luck and a number of injuries."
The Rossoneri failed to get past the last 16 stage, but he's confident that he has the players to improve on that performance.
"I do not have to build a team, but I have to improve it," the Coach continued. "Milan are not perfect.
"Let me give you an example - when Barcelona lose the ball, they try to regain possession at a frenetic pace. That is one aspect we have to do better in."
