AC Milan have made a move for Udinese fullback Douglas Santos.
Milan are in the market for a new left-back this month, but have been frustrated in attempts for Atletico Madrid defender Guilherme Siqueira and Fiorentina veteran Manuel Pasqual.
The Rossoneri have now opened talks with Udinese for Douglas, who is currently playing on-loan in Brazil with Atletico Mineiro.
The 20 year-old can sign permanently with Atletico for a fee of €2.8 million.
Milan hope to takeover his loan deal for the remainder of the season.
