AC Milan are ready to hand Marco Storari a return to the San Siro.
The Italian is available from Cagliari.
Milan chief Adriano Galliani is in contact with the veteran goalkeeper about a return to act as cover for Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The offer will run to the end of this season, with the option of a coaching deal next season.
Storari hasn't yet hung up the gloves and is open to a playing return.
