The African Nations Cup isn't putting off AC Milan's pursuit of Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

Should Milan swoop for Drogba, he won't be immediately available to coach Massimiliano Allegri due to his Nations Cup commitments with Ivory Coast.

Sportmediaset says that isn't putting off Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani, who is prepared to take Drogba on-loan and also sign Maxi Lopez from Catania in the winter market.

Galliani wants to take Drogba on-loan to June before signing him permanently on a Bosman. Milan feel the wait will be worth it, particularly as the 33 year-old isn't Cup-tied from the Champions League.
