AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti says he never had a problem with Antonio Cassano.

Cassano took aim at Milan management after signing for Inter Milan, though reserved praise for Tassotti.

"Cassano asked to leave and the club was happy to let him go. Speaking with him in the past, given our good relationship, I'd often paraphrase Kennedy, asking him 'what he could do for the team and not just what they could do for him'.

"Anyway, now those things are behind us, because he went to another great team as he wished."
