AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti has dismissed claims they have been overtaken by Inter after their back-to-back Scudettos.

Tassotti said: "There was an overtaking in the championship, while in Europe this was not case. They concluded their Champions League campaign where we also stopped.

"Jose Mourinho? He's a great coach, he will do well in Italian football."
