Aston Villa have AC Milan nervous over their pursuit of Nancy midfielder Bakaye Traore.

Traore has struck a rich seam of form and is expected to join Milan at the end of the season.

But with nothing signed, Traore remains open to other offers and Villa have made contact to register their interest in the free-scoring midfielder.

The 26 year-old Mali international is off contract in June.
