Sevilla striker Fredi Kanoute is attracting interest from AC Milan.
AS says Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has told coach Carlo Ancelotti that they cannot afford to spend big on a new forward in the summer as they seek a replacement for crocked Brazilian Ronaldo.
Ancelotti wants a centre-forward, capable of dominating in the air and also being comfortable on the deck - and Kanoute fits the bill.
Milan chiefs Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida are confident Kanoute can be prised away from Sevilla for £15 million and a high-profile agent has already begun to make enquiries on their behalf.
