AC Milan midfielder Kevin Constant has given his full backing to coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Milan bounced back from a disastrous season so far with victory over Chievo Verona on the weekend.

"Allegri has given me confidence," he told Milan Channel. "At the beginning I couldn't find a space in the team, but now I've been given that opportunity, I want to take it.

"When I play I always try to give my best. I'm starting to grow into my surroundings, and hopefully I can continue on this positive path.

"I hope the team will be able to recover [from its bad start]."
