AC Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura forced out of Italy squad

AC Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura is out of Italy's squad due to injury.

He has returned home to the Rossoneri after just the one training session following a muscular injury sustained to his leg.

"He is returning to Milan to recover, he will be there for the next call," the winger's agent, Giocondo Martorelli has told Milan Channel.

"You have to stay calm, I have also said this to the guy, whilst he also knows that if he does well at Milan then he will return to the national team without any problem.

"He was hurt in the last second of the training session, but it is not anything serious, there is only the one edema - from what we have seen there is no real strain to the muscle.

"Then he will talk with Milan and the medical staff to carefully evaluate the care that is required.

"Will he be there for Verona in Week 7? The feeling is that he will be available for Coach Inzaghi."
