AC Milan midfielder Flamini has no regrets quitting Arsenal
AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini has no regrets quitting Arsenal 18 months ago.
Flamini angered Gunners fans with his decision to leave for the Rossoneri.
"My father is Italian," he told the Daily Mail. "So I am half Italian. To come to Italy, to one of the biggest clubs in the world, to be part of this, to train and play with these players, is a dream for me. I enjoyed my time at Arsenal and I still have great friends there. Cesc, Tomas, Robin. But my family were very proud when I came here.
"To play with Maldini, Ronaldinho, Dida, Seedorf, Ambrosini. Legends. For my career but also for my personal experience it is fantastic.
"It is a team in transition. There are younger players coming into a team with players who have won everything. But there is still the same ambition. At Milan you are expected to win titles and trophies - win every game."

dont u lie.. u fool when u lie ur self..
I think many Arsenal fans do not hold anything against Flamini, he always gave his all for the Gunners and in the end the team tried to screw him on the contract so he moved on with the best deal he could get signing for another top team. Arsenal should have payed what he was worth, it has really hurt the team not to have him and only this season was the hole left in Arsenal midfield finally mostly filled by Alex Song. Flamini was also a leader of the team on the pitch and even today Arsenal still lack leadership on the pitch. Flamini gave everything he had for Arsenal in every single game he ever played at the club, only the most callous Arsenal fan can have anything against him. I hope that Flamini moves back to the EPL, he is better suited in this league than in the slower and disintegrating Serie A. Flamini plays with rare intensity and passion, he runs more than almost any player in the world, he is really a fun player to watch play the game. He would be an ideal signing for Liverpool, with Flamini and Dirk Kuyt they would just run other teams completely ragged next season. In fact, with a couple of key signings like this Liverpool could be title contenders next season.
