AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini insists he's not angling for a move to Manchester City. City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed he wants to bring Flamini back to England before next week's transfer deadline.

But Flamini says: "I am happy that many important clubs are interested in me, but my main goal is to do well in the Milan shirt. I am focused only on the field, and so a transfer during the winter market is not one thing I think about every day.

"I managed to force myself into the teams at Marseille and Arsenal, I am sure that I can impose myself even more with the Milan shirt."
