AC Milan midfielder Nigel De Jong is happy with his role in coach Max Allegri's plans.
De Jong enjoys the defensive side of the game.
"Another player may score a great goal or do a fine bit of skill," he told NuSport. "But I prefer a tackle or recovering the ball.
"This aspect of the game is appreciated a lot more abroad than it is in the Netherlands.
"It is something that brings balance to the team and should be seen as a positive.
"I like to do the dirty work - that's my role."
