AC Milan midfielder Kevin Constant is proud to be up for the African Player of the Year.

Guinea international Constant was one of the 25 nominees for the African Player of the Year award. The winner will be announced on January 9.

"It is an honour for me to be among the candidates and I worked very hard for this. My objective is simply to always give my best."
