AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng plans to end his international exile for Ghana.

Boateng hasn't played for the Black Stars since 2011.

"Boateng's father is my relative and we used talks with him and the boy to convince the player to return to the Black Stars," Ghana official Yaw Boateng Djan told Peace FM on Tuesday.

"In fact, he could have returned earlier as he was being considered for this month's matches, but an injury prevented his inclusion."
