AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that the club may have to wait until December before they secure Keisuke Honda.
The Japan international is contracted to CSKA Moscow til the end of the year with the Russian club unable to come to an agreement with the Rossoneri for a premature transfer.
"CSKA's president is perfectly right. Honda has a contract with them until December, so it's only right that is respected," said Galliani.
"We made an offer to sign him immediately, but it was not deemed sufficient. Let's not forget we would only have been paying to have him for a limited period of time."
