AC Milan are making Tottenham fullback Gareth Bale a priority target.

The Daily Mail says Bale is said to be AC Milan's No 1 target for their problem left-back position.

The Italian giants are keen to sign a striker and a defender before the start of the season and are ready to make a move for the Tottenham Hotspur defender, according to reports in Italy.

Milan have already tried to sign Porto's Aly Cissokho, who failed a medical and later moved to Lyon in a £13million deal.
