AC Milan have made a move for Olympique Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula.
L'Equipe says Milan GM Adriano Galliani has been in talks with Marseille president Vincent Labrune for some weeks.
Galliani has now made an opening bid for the Frenchman, who is also interesting Valencia and Tottenham.
Milan are turning to Imbula after missing out on former AS Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Kondogbia signed for Inter Milan yesterday.
