AC Milan are reviving their interest in Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey.

Milan approached Fiorentina last month for Frey when Dida's future was in doubt after his brain explosion at Celtic. The Rossoneri have now revived talks with the Florence club about a January deal for the Frenchman. Il Firenze says Milan are ready to smash Fiorentina's £1 million-a-year wage ceiling to take Frey to the San Siro and are prepared to sign and send to Florence Catania goalkeeper Ciro Polito in part-exchange.

Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino won't consider selling Frey in midseason and is confident the ex-Parma No1 won't be unsettled by Milan's fresh interest.
