AC Milan have opened talks with Fiorentina for Adem Ljajic.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani met with Viola chief Daniele Prade last week to discuss the young midfielder, who has a year to run on his current deal.

Prade is demanding €20 million, but Galliani has told him to try again with Ljajic's contract now winding down.

Milan are seeking to do business for €10 million.
