AC Milan are set to make another attempt to sign Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

The Uruguayan is a long term target for the Serie A club.

They were unsuccessful in their move for him last summer.

The 24-year-old moved from Italy to England two summers ago, and has wanted to go back since.

Now Corriere dello Sport says that Torreira has been "sending positive signals" to Milan about a transfer.

He is currently recovering from a broken ankle that he suffered in an FA Cup game against Portsmouth.
