AC Milan legend Dejan Savicevic has urged CSKA Moscow star Milos Krasic to choose his old club ahead of Manchester United.

Krasic admits he dreams of playing for United, but Milan are also chasing the Serbia international winger.

And Savicevic told Blic: "The Russian league is a very tough competition nowadays, among the top four or five leagues in Europe, and Krasic is a great athlete and he runs a lot and is very skilled.

"Personally, I would love to see him sign for Milan, where I used to play. He would have a smooth transition to the Serie A as he is coming from a tough league and he is young.

"It's important for Milos to sign for as great a club as possible, because his top class is unquestioned.

"I know he would find it easier to get accustomed in Manchester United alongside his compatriot Nemanja Vidic, but I'm still in favour of Milan."
