AC Milan legend Maldini linked with Leonardo backroom team at Inter

AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini is being linked with Leonardo's backroom staff at Inter.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Leonardo wants to bring Maldini to Inter as he prepares to kickoff a new era at the club.

Maldini, who was offered a role at Chelsea by manager Carlo Ancelotti, has been critical of Milan and patron Silvio Berlusconi.

The way he was treated during his final days as a Rossoneri player is still a bitter memory for the legendary defender.
