AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf is set to land the Oldham Athletic manager's job.

The Daily Mail says Seedorf has held shock talks with Oldham over the vacant manager's job.

The Holland hero was treated to fine dining by chairman Simon Corney in a bid to win him over.

Seedorf was also given a tour of the struggling League One club on Thursday afternoon.

Oldham, who are second from bottom, are looking for a new manager after sacking John Sheridan on Monday.

Seedorf is just one of the names in the hat to help fire Oldham up the table.
