AC Milan legend Franco Baresi has likened coach Massimiliano Allegri to the club's modern day greats.
Allegri led the Rossoneri to the Scudetto in his first season at the club on Saturday after the 0-0 draw at Roma. "Max is a mix between Carlo Ancelotti and Fabio Capello," the legendary sweeper told Sky Sport 24.
"He's made a great start to his adventure at Milan, creating a base to become competitive in European competition too.
"At the start we were all curious to see his value. He was good enough to take charge of an important group of players.
"He managed to get the best out of everybody, including those who didn't play that much the season before.
"The important thing was the objective of winning the title and the players, thanks to Allegri, understood that."
