AC Milan legal chiefs are confident they can sign on-loan LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham OUTRIGHT. The England international is only set to stay at San Siro until March 8 when he will return to owners LA Galaxy for the MLS season.
However, Beckham has made a big impact in the peninsula and scored his first Milan goal against Bologna yesterday.
"After March anything can happen," Milan lawyer Leandro Cantamessa told Sky Sport Italia.
"Beckham would first have to talk to LA Galaxy and tell them that he is happy here and only then could we begin negotiations for a transfer that went beyond a loan."
The Italian transfer market will be closed when Beckham returns to America, but there are suggestions that he could get round this problem by buying himself out of his contract with LA Galaxy and becoming a free agent.
