AC Milan launch Japanese academy in Tokyo

AC Milan are launching an academy in Japan.

Milan have become the first Italian club to open a soccer school in Japan with a view to sourcing young talent.

"Japanese footballers are very active in Europe and the objective is to help the football of this country grow even more," said Franco Baresi.

Milan now have 12 soccer schools open worldwide.

The latest will be based in the south of Tokyo.
