AC Milan are ready to offer £11 million for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Daily Star says Drogba could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and AC Milan, who won the Serie A title last month, want to add some physical force to their attack for next season.

They were disappointed at the way they were beaten in the knockout stages of the Champions League by Spurs, and want to sharpen their strike-force.

Milan's sporting director Adriano Galliani has held a meeting with club owner Silvio Berlusconi and have settled on Drogba as their No.1 target.
