AC Milan are keeping tabs on Antonio Cassano's situation at Sampdoria.

Samp president Riccardo Garrone is adamant he will have the attacker's contract ripped up after their bust-up - but as yet, the player remains tied to the club.

Milan are watching developments closely and intend to move for Cassano should he become a free agent.

The Rossoneri see Cassano as a replacement for Ronaldinho, who is now a step away from joining LA Galaxy.
