Chelsea are closing on a deal for AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

Gazzetta Mercato reports Chelsea will swoop for Lopez once Asmir Begovic moves on.

A deal between Lopez and Chelsea was finalised in a meeting last week.

The 34-year-old stopper joined Milan from Real Madrid in 2014, but was behind 17-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma between the sticks last season.
