AC Milan have joined the interest in Chelsea defender Alex.
Corriere dello Sport says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has Alex lined up in the event Barcelona should make a serious move for Thiago Silva.
Alex is also interesting Bayern Munich as an alternative to Manchester City's Jerome Boateng.
The Brazil defender is strictly third-choice behind John Terry and David Luiz at Stamford Bridge.
