AC Milan, Inter urged to bid for Man City striker Adebayor

AC Milan and Inter are chasing Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The People says Adebayor is heading for the exit door at Manchester City - with both Milan clubs keen to take him to Italy in January.

The 26-year-old Togo striker believes his future isn't at Eastlands and has already hinted he may be prepared to move in January if he isn't playing regularly.

Former Arsenal star Adebayor, signed for City by Mark Hughes from the Emirates for £25million in July last year, had missed City's last four games with a dead leg before making a late appearance as a substitute against Chelsea yesterday.

But with boss Roberto Mancini signing Inter Milan hot-shot Mario Balotelli, currently out injured, Adebayor believes he will be third-choice striker behind skipper Carlos Tevez and the Italian youngster.

Adebayor, also reportedly involved in an off-field wrangle with the landlord of the property he has been renting in Cheshire, has told pals he could move on if he's not considered first choice.

And it is understood that Mancini would not stand in Adebayor's way.
