AC Milan stepped up negotiations with Spartak Moscow yesterday over defensive midfielder Radoslav Kovac.
The 29 year-old Czech Republic international is a prime target for Milan as they seek to boost their defensive options. Spartak rate Kovac in the £3 million class.
Milan held a new round of talks with Spartak on Tuesday about Kovac's availability.
