AC Milan are in contact with Napoli sports director Cristiano Giuntoli.

TMW says the future of general manager Massimo Mirabelli is being discussed at board level inside Milan, with a very real possibility of him being shown the door at the end of this season.

Giuntoli has been contacted informally by Milan's legal chief Mattia Grassani. The pair go back a long way as Grassani advised Giuntoli when Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis offered him the job.

Talk of a Milan return for Barcelona international scout Ariedo Braida is also intensifying this week.
