Italian giants AC Milan will play a friendly with Qatari club Al Sadd in Doha on March 4. The Rossoneri are using fixtures like this to take the place of the Champions League football they normally play and the Qatari club have jumped at the chance to have them on their soil.
"An agreement has been reached to dispute a friendly with Milan as the protagonist on Wednesday March 4," read a statement on the Rossoneri's official website.
"The stars of the Rossoneri will play against Al Sadd sports club at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium in Doha, in the emirate of Qatar at 1900 local time.
"Al Sadd are one of three teams fighting it out for the title in the Qatari national championship," the statement added.
"The friendly represents an important chance for the people of the Middle East to watch and admire the champions of the Rossoneri."
