AC Milan hero Rivera: Players stay in Italy for money

Reacting to the warnings last week from Milan ace Kaka, Rivera told L'Equipe: "One knows that if someone of his stature says anything, it gets blown-up out of all proportion. I don't think there's any risks.

"The players are in Italy because of the money. Not because they love our football, but because someone pays them.

"In Italy, we must take measures so the financial interests are not threatened. The government must provide financial security."
