Clarence Seedorf is emerging as favourite for Massimiliano Allegri's job at AC Milan.

The Botafogo midfielder is a favourite of Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, who is ready to dump Allegri in the coming days.

Sky Italia says contrary to reports, Milan have not been in contact with sacked Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, nor Italy U21 coach Devis Mangia.

Instead, it is suggested Seedorf will be brought back to the Rossoneri in the summer to take charge, with a three-year deal waiting for him.
