AC Milan defender Luca Antonini says they've proven their critics wrong.

Milan now sit third on the Serie A table.

"Earlier this season we were given up for dead," he told Milan Channel. "We needed to find consistent results and confidence.

"But once we found those, we demonstrated to many that they were wrong to doubt us.

"We are a good group and we work well."
