AC Milan's pursuit of PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will intensify at the end of the month.

For the moment, Milan are maintaining a watching brief on Ibra's situation and keeping in regular contact with his agent, Mino Raiola.

Tuttosport says the situation will become clearer after August 1, when PSG play in the French Super Cup.

It's been suggested the game will become a farewell match for Ibrahimovic, who is now inside the final 12 months of his contract.

Galatasaray have also made an approach to Raiola in recent days, but the Swede has made it clear he favours the Milan project.
