AC Milan legend Franco Baresi is not taking anything for granted in this season's Champions League competition.
The Rossoneri kick off their 2013/14 European campaign at home against Celtic next Wednesday but Baresi is not yet pencilling in a win for his former club.
"This is a difficult group for Milan because Celtic are an excellent team in the Champions League," he said of Group H which also includes Barcelona and Ajax.
"The win against Barcelona was something everyone noticed - they deserved it.
"It's going to be tough. Celtic have been a great Champions League team down the years, especially in Scotland. They don't lose there very often. Everyone in Europe sees this.
"The crowd carries them so much and they seem to be a proud team, proud to play for the club."
He added: "Milan are not so experienced as before when Celtic played them. There is no Rino Gattuso, for example.
"It takes a while for a team to grow but they are improving."
